Jacques Bermon Webster II, born on April 30 1991, is popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American artist, singer, and songwriter. His stage name is a fusion of the name a favorite uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott was signed to his first major-label deal in 2012, with Epic Records. In April 2013 the singer-songwriter signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. Then, he launched his Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in the year 2013. In 2013 Scott released his first full-length mixtape called Owl Pharaoh. The mixtape was later immediately followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album. It featured the hit song "Antidote". His follow-up album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200. The next year, Scott released a collaborative album with Quavo called Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the band name Huncho Jack.In 2018, his third album, Astroworld, was released to great acclaim. It also featured his first Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). In the latter part of 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys, which topped the Billboard 200. Following the single "Franchise" and Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it topped the 200-page chart on Billboard. in 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs hit the top spot within less than a year.
